Jenni is starting a new online community space for intuitive vocal improv. Come and unwind on a Friday evening, (once every three or four weeks), tune into the River of Life – the drone and to Jenni’s Intuitive Vocal Improvisation offerings from the heart.

The focus will be meditative intuitive improvisation..

Big group singing is better on mute but there will be opportunities to sing unmuted in duets and trios with Jenni. The zoom link will be available once you have got your ticket.

“There’s nothing to it…” the strap line for the session

At the end of the pilot session in December 2025, Jenni said to the group, “I don’t know if I’ve taught you anything this evening..” The reply came from one group member: “Does it matter?”

The next morning, the person continued… “I was grateful there wasn’t any explicit ‘learning’ … learning will always happen, I think, but/and the discoveries we make ourselves are the most valuable ones.”

Taking an Intuitive Vocal Improvisation boat trip together.. the waves, the ocean, the mountains and the forests.. leaving harbour – returning to shore.

This is a gentle space for exploring and sounding into Being and Aliveness through voice.

Best using headphones and a good external mic – (get yourself a reverb unit to go fully cosmic) – but come as you are with the set-up you have! No pressure. All welcome.

You will be sent a Zoom link once you have bought your ticket.

Please make sure to buy at least an hour before the event to make sure your purchase is seen.

I don’t think this page allows multiple dates, so once this date is passed, I will duplicate the event with a new date.

Cost: Free for first timers. Then as you choose, – from £5 – £20. There will be a charity donation to UNICEF in Gaza made from ticket sales.

“The work of Jenni Roditi is truly remarkable. All music speaks to the unconscious. But rarely do we find that conduit from the unconscious back into musical form. Jenni Roditi, employing a sophisticated use of improvisation, a deep understanding of how listening becomes musical expression and her own innate musicality, makes vocal work that is at once utterly original and completely timeless. It speaks of what is most ancient in all of us, and, simultaneously, what is most urgent, present and new. It is, quite simply, extra-ordinary. And very, very beautiful.”

Simon McBurney, Complicité Theatre, March 2018.
